Taberna Del Alabardero Inc Spanish 1776 I Street Northwest, Washington (202) 429-2200  Why fly all that way to Madrid when you can have the same experience right here. Wonderful food(Try the veal cheecks), great tapas, and tasty sangria. can be expensive but the service and ambiance make the experience well worth the effort!!

The Queso is great, used to have lunch there a lot with the Kennedy Center Crowd. We'd drink pitchers of margharitas. Prices are fair, you always get a big portion.
