I was not impressed at all with the food. I believe the chef must have been on vacation because I have heard wonderful things about this place and they didn't serve my party at the same time and the meat had to be sent back and still was not cooked well. A friend of mine ordered a Hamburger and the Six dollar burger at Hardee's would have been much better. I will not reccomend this establishment to friends.

My husband and I have loved this restaurant for years and consider it the "special" place for birthdays, anniversaries, and other important occasions. The waitstaff is always attentive and very knowledgable and the food is extraordinary.

We have traveled far and wide, experiencing many "eating vacations" as well as genealogy trips, and consider the BEST CELLAR in Blowing Rock, NC to be one of the best dining establishments anywhere. And best of all, our grandson feels welcome there!

I think this place is wonderful! The food is delicious and the waitstaff is very helpful and very polite. I would eat there again and would reccomend it to friends and family. Prices could come down a bit but other then that its a great place to eat.
