My coworkers and I ( 5 of us ) had lunch on 10-19-11, we were greeted and asked if we want sushi or hibachi? we requested Hibachi we were seated and ignored! finally she comes back and gets our drink order and then tells us it will be 30min. to waite for a chef? we didn't have the time so had the kithchen prepare it. she then asked if we were ready to order with a real bad attitude and we all sensed she was having a bad day, after placing order she asked if it was together or seperate? we replied w/ seperate WELL that really did it she was not happy! after she left TWO other tables told us good luck because they too were having a bad experience. she came back slamed our drinks down and walked off. It did take 30min to get meal and we had 15min to back to work so we went ahead and asked for our tickets and to-go boxes as she turns around to walk off I see her Mouthing back what I said and shaking her head!!!! It was NOT A RELAXING LUNCH, and I have"NEVER" been treated in that manner at a resturant and I have 40yrs experience of eating out. I never felt the need to express how upset I was from a waitress! Customer SERVICE was not her specialty

I just had the worst dinning experience ever. We ordered sushi to go and then went to the bar for a drink. We were told it would take about 25 minutes for our order to be ready. We waited 45 minutes and still had not received our order. The waiter also never came back to see if we wanted anything else. When we asked about our order, we were told that everyone else would be served first before they would serve any takeout orders. We have been going to this restaurant for a few years and have never been treated so badly. We did get our money back on our order, but we will not be back.

My husband and I go at least once a week. We love the food, we eat sushi most of the time and it is excellent. The sushi chef is awesome and our waiter or waitress is good too. Great place to eat.

Food was just OK. For the $100 we spent, felt it wasn't worth the money & service was non-existent. 2 at the bar left as no one came to take their order. 4 empty tables around us, 3 had dirty dishes for the 1.5 hours we were there. The waitress brought soup halfway thru the meal, and gave us our ticket while we were still waiting on the rest of the order. It was terribly hot, we were sweating just sitting. A man finally came and turned a fan on in the corner just as we were leaving. Sushi rice too wet, rolls were falling apart, Avocado rolls crab was wet and mushy. Our first visit is our last. Paper towel dispenser in men's bathroom broken.

Before Tokyo, I never liked rice at all and when I went to Tokyo restaurant and ate fried rice, I loved it! I go there every week. Sometimes the steaks were perfectly cooked but other times, it was dry or overcooked. But I still go because of fried rice. Service was bad and slow. Food is awesome!

The food is great. Some of the chefs put on a good show, some do not. Luck of the draw on a good show. The waitresses are horrible. No drink refills. The orders are usually right because the chef verifies the order before cooking. Soup is very good when it's hot. Sometimes is luke warm. Finding the waitress to correct the soup is hard as getting a refill. Overall, I do love the food.......so, I put up with the poor service. The owner is very nice and puts on a good show when he is helping cook. I did see the clean up staff using the used napkins left over from the customers to wipe down the table. yuck!

The food, and service had much to be desired. No drink refills. Orders were not correct. Staff was not interested in trying to make us happy.
We will not go back!

The drinks were slow and almost nor refills. Waitress could not place the order correctly. We have dined here regularly for the past six years. It is usually good. The quality and quantity of food for the price paid was extravagant. When I complained to the cashier she patronizingly said OooH tooo Bad!!! We will never go back.

I have been to this resturant many times for the dinner and have loved it. The food is great, the waitstaff sometimes can be slow, but doesn't real down the experience.

However, I went during the lunch hour the other day and it was terrible. The food tasted like it was from the night before, my rice was hard and crunchy and my chicken dried out. The chef didn't even cook the food in front of us, even though they sat us at a grill. That was a first for me. I would not recommend this rest for lunch, only dinner.

The food and chef were wonderful but the wait staff (drinks, refills, salads, cocktails, check) were very slow. We did not receive our cocktails until the chef had almost finished, no refills on tea or water, but that is my only complaint.
Everything else was just wonderful.

They have the best sushi north of Dallas at a reasonable price. I recommned the Volcano roll for a spicy/savory taste sensation which will make you want to return many times.
