Our waiter had no clue as to either the menu or the drinks. When asked about the name of the house wine he proceeded with a bad attitude. After he realized I'm from NYC and not Nebraska and I don't sit still for bad treatment, his attitude changed 180 degrees.
Ok, well that's just one waiter. Let's talk food. Lousey, horrible, trash, not tastey. If you want the runs, order the Rellano with Chorizo. This was by far the worst MExican food I have ever eaten. Now, I'm born and raised in NYC, lived in Los Angeles for the past 14 years and spent 6 months in Mexico for work. So, I've eaten loads of Mexican food. The best thing Tico's offers is the free Spanish newspaper at the front that lists more Mexican restaurants.

Fair food, fair prices. Weird decor outside. If you want good mexican go elsewhere. Otherwise not bad for a change of pace.
