AMAZING Experience!! I have to say that I wasn't expecting much as this is a buffet style lunch/dinner place - but after I sampled the spread I was happily surprised! Everything was great - especially the saag paneer and fresh nan baked in a clay oven. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and found out that each recipe had been handed down to him from his mother when he was a boy growing up in India. He even let me tour the kitchen and watch him cook in his clay oven! I especially liked seeing that he used fresh organic ingredients and was environmentally conscience in what products he chose for the restaurant. This is my new favorite spot for lunch and great chai!!

I've had Indian food all over the world and I can honestly say that this place is one of the few places in North America that knows what authentic Indian food is about. I can understand how a few bad incidents can cause people to put in bad reviews but I visit Ashland every year from California and eat there almost every other day while I'm there. If you've ever been to North India then you'll know what I'm talking about. Unlike a lot of the other Indian restaurants in town(and believe me I didn't form this opinion by eating at these other restaurants just once) which hire a bunch of people from south of the border and have them cook Indian food, the owner of Three Rivers not only runs the show but does all the cooking himself. He grew up in India and knows about all the little spices and other ingredients which make Indian food authentic. Btw, he also sells those ingredients and will gladly share the recipes with you if you're interested in cooking some good Indian food at home. Have you ever had dishes like potato pumpkin, bitter gourd, mixed veggie korma(I can go on and on)? If not, you have to check this place out. Apart from the food, if you also like some great Indian chai then you have to check this place out. There's a reason why some of the great local and outside(I know the ones from Mt Shasta and Seattle, etc)musicians hang out at this place every weekend and play all kinds of wonderful music. Most of them have travelled to India and understand everything that's legit about India. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone without any hesitation.

If you are used to really good Indian Cousine you can skip this establishment. The buffet was very sub standard with most of the offerings in a soupy, watered down version of the traditional fare. The rice was dry and had been sitting in the container for many hours. Again, if you are used to really good Indian food such as that you would find in the San Francisco Bay Area...you will be very disappointed by this place. Also, the pricing was weird. I ended up paying more than $10 for their lousy buffet. Go elswhere

Great Food, Great Price, Not too loud not too quiet, But to be honest it's better to arrive earlier for better food, seems to become colder later in the day.
