This is a fantastic restaurant. Since moving to the area, I have been very disappointed with the restaurants..except for this one! Excellent and exciting vegetarian dishes; not just boring tofu. Also, the sweet tea is addictive. The ambient music played by a local musician was excellent (if maybe a touch too loud for the small space) and made the dining experience more elegant.

I went here with my family a while back and half of my family is either vegan or vegetarian while the other half is omnivores. It was my brother's birthday [who is vegan] and we were so thrilled at the amount of options he could eat. You can't find vegetarian and especially vegan friendly food options here in the south. And the food was EXCELLENT and quite fairly priced. The whole experience was amazing. I would give it ten stars if I could.

Ibis is a very good dining value just two blocks off Union Street in Concord, NC. As mentioned in other comments, the menu is diverse and features flavorful dishes with plenty of spice for those who love curries, Indian and Caribbean influences.

Service can be very slow when the restaurant is busy, but the servers who are there do their best to keep up and we are on a first-name basis with more than one of them after a couple dozen visits.

Live music is fun for the kids, though it is sometimes a bit loud in the small dining space. Decor is spartan, the small space not too crowded.

Hands-down the best menu in Concord - don't let the location in the odd strip of shops discourage you from trying this great little restaurant!

We had been told about this restaurant by a friend and took some friends with us to eat there Sat pm. We had live music during our meal and the best food. The chicken was excellent, (pioneer) and the mango tea was a nice tasting tea. The bread was fresh and the soup was excellent. I would go back. The environment was romantic and soothing. It was a nice treat.

This is really a great restaurant. The food was great - we had : butternut squash soup, split pea soup, baby green and walnut salad, romaine avocado salad, ibis entree - cod and crab cakes, oxtail braise - this was all excellent. The freshness was apparent as was the value. Our only concern was the owners who were seated and watched us eat the whole time. Definitely go again and again. Real fresh food and you can bring your own drinks with no corkage but with good live music.

This restaurant by far is Concord's finest. One would typically have to drive to Charlotte to experience such fine dining. My favorite entree is The Bucaneer, sauteed salmon in olive oil topped with a delicious tomato sauce. All of the salads are complimented by orignal dressing created in the restaurant. Truly a remarkable dining experience!

This place has wonderful food! I have eaten there 4 times & have had the wild mushroom quiche, the herb roasted chicken & the pork tenderloin. All fabulous! My friend loves the hummus & we all love the dipping sauce for the bread. The mango tea is a must! K.S.

What a hidden gem!! The food is absolutely delicious. The dipping sauce for the bread was fantastic. The appetizers come out and you feel like you are at a fine dining restaurant. The presentation was beautiful but most importantly, delicious. The vegetable lasagna is a must! Next you receive your soup which was great. The carribean chowder was awesome. Now on to the salads. The dressings are all homemade and fresh and delicious. Try the sesame dressing. Then the main course comes out and is amazing. The Ibis is great and the stuffed pork chop was the size of a pork loin. Dessert was an excellent finish to a great night. The Carribean Queen & berries and cream were fantastic. Fridays and Saturdays have live music till 9. You must try The Ibis for a fantastic dining experience.

I own a business near downtown and we recently tried Ibis for lunch take-out this past week. Spectacular in a sea of burgers and greasy home cooking. I'm a meat, meat, and more meat kind of guy and even the vegetarian Spinach and Tofu Ravioli with fennel blew me away. We will be doing lunch at least one if not two times a week from here on out. And I can't wait for an opportunity to get back into Concord in the evening to sample the Goat Curry. Do Not Miss This Place!!!

Excellent food. Wonderful presentation. Needs a little more color for ambiance. There was live music (guitar man a la Jimmy Buffet)... Hubby had the curried goat loved it, me the signature dish The Ibis salt cod w/crabmeat. Dessert the bread pudding w/bananas and rum glaze sauce.
