About The Airplane Restaurant
Solo's centerpiece is a fully intact Boeing KC-97 tanker. Built in 1953, this magnificent airplane refueled aircraft throughout the world. Then, in May 2002, it began its second mission~ to be the preeminent aviation restaurant in the United States. Forty-two passengers can actually eat in the plane of the 275-seat restaurant. Rich in aviation history, displaying 100's of pictures, memorabilia and rare artifacts, Solo's offers much more than great food, it offers a flight through aviation history.

Solo's opens daily for lunch at 11:00 am and serves until 9:00 weekdays and 10:00 Friday and Saturday. Please call for special holiday hours.

atmosphere was really great, loved the airplane pics and posters.lack of Cleanliness was immediately evident , Carpets gross , Never been shampooed ?, Tables old and worn out. Staff dressed in uniform and funky terminology for almost everything.Food ..absolutely HORRIBLE , returned one meal twice and then gave up.Philly cheese steak sandwich,dry tasteless. Chic sandwich old and cooked days ahead of time.Hamburger under cooked and dripping with grease. Fries were average . NEVER EVER WILL WE GO AGAIN

This was the second time my wife and I have eaten at the Airplane--the first time was before the name change. Our first experience was disappointing but with the name change perhaps....
The food was not bad, neither was it good. The service was fine. The value was very low. It was so bad that though we had another coupon from restaurant.com we didn't use it, I rather eat the $10 for the coupon than eat another meal at the Airplane Restaurant.

I always wanted to take a chance and try this place....very disappointed...server was rude and not attentive..had to ask for everything even silver wear...burgers were burnt and waited and waited for ticket to pay...prob
