My husband and I are always in search of a great mexican restaurant, and we LOVE Tequila's. The soft tacos are excellent and we always finish off the homemade chips, guacamole, and salsa! The service is slow but extremely pleasant. We go as often as we can and I definitely recommend this for a nice quiet evening out.

We've been here several times with different friends each time and everyone really liked their dishes.
Last night we had a waiter who could've been better-I think he was tending bar as well so was preoccupied but he was still better than many other restaurants. The chef has come out each time we've gone here aqnd asks about the food- very friendly and proud of his work. The complimentary tamales on another visit- much touted by owner who makes them-were not realy very good but none of us were ordering that dish anyway- I never eat tamales. The carne asada is very good. 2 ordered the mexican lasagna and liked it. The vegetarian burritos were a favorite for others. Our all time favorite mexican is El ACAPULCO in South Norwalk CT - been going there for almost 30 yrs and seen them make several relocations - but cost of gas makes that a more expensive night out now. Their food has always been consistently great.

The food here was terrible, We ordered Fajitas, the chicken was slimy and the beef greasy, no spices, or any of the other toppings usually associated with fajitas. Will definitely not go back.
