I was dragging this morning because my daughter and I got up early to travel to Salisbury for her volleyball tournament. I just didn't want another standard chain coffee place with weak roasts. I was so glad to find Tastebuds Coffee. I resisted the temptation to just settle for Starbucks as I drove by it looking for Tastebuds. I'm sure glad I did! This coffee house is located in the quaint historic downtown area and is very nicely decorated on the inside. I was greeted right away by a friendly man named Kirk who I came to know as the owner. He saw that I was a bit tired and offered their strong roast for my Cappuccino. Boy that was one of the best Cappuccinos that I've had in a while. And I didn't even have to ask for a double shot to help out the flavor of most chain places. Do yourself a favor and skip over Starbucks and head down to Tastebuds if you want to experience a real bold cup of coffee that is sure give you that extra pep in your step!
