The ambiance in this restaurant is cozy, I suppose - there was a fire going in a large, rock fireplace and a piano player, which was enjoyable. The decor itself is lacking - pictures are poorly framed and placed, and there are rather large, unattractive paintings. They were kid friendly and had high chairs and the usual kid's menu (pizza, cheeseburgers, et.). Our server was attentive and friendly. However, the food was, well, awful. My dinner (a turkey plate) tasted like a frozen dinner, and I am sure it was not fresh. The veggies looked like a mix from the freezer that had been reheated. And it cost $16.99! My husband had chicken jambalaya, which was a decent chicken dish, but was certainly not a jambalaya. My daughter's pizza was the only thing that looked like decent eats. Overall, this was incredibly overpriced for the poor quality of food. We will not be going back.
