Diner reviews of Steves Boston Seafood

I completely agree with the last review....service was horrid !!! We went on New Years Eve...for a special dinner...I have been in the rest./food service business over 20 yrs,I will not EVER be back based on the service and cleanliness(or lack there of)alone .The counter girls had no food knowledge at all, didnt know what came with what dinner, for sides or how they were prepared.....1 girl actually answered the phone with saying "Boston Market",then laughed and said oh duh,I mean steves Boston seafood..I would have fired her on that alone !!...the other girl was just clueless w/no people skills at all...while we were there waiting for our order to be cooked, they decided to close early.I watched the girls put the fresh fish into square fish buckets to be transfered to the cooler...NO GLOVES by anyone, pack fish, answer phone take order, pack more fish, absolutly,by far unexceptable and disgusting !!!!!
Long hair was hanging and untied as well.I wanted to leave...but had already paid !!!We returned home to eat the order...disappointed.Baked items were all over cooked!and fried items were packed so tight, they were just soggy!!
Save your $$$$$$$ and skip it. Try Jason's seafood on Palumbo,or Maine fish Market in East windsor....I would have rather gone to the Big Y !

food is great, but cook it yourself. paid $7 for six mushrooms the size of a quater and they were cold by the time I got home 1.5 miles away. I could fit the whole thing in the palm of my hand. Ordered the dinner for $7.50. Didn't get colesaw as advertised or french fries or rice. Second time this happened. First time I thought they made a mistake because they were busy. Would have been better off with the filet of fish deal at McDonalds for under $4.

This was the most horrid dining experience ever. We went in between the kunch and dinner hour and what little food that was out was cold, rubbery and tasteless. I will NEVER go back!
