Spring Street Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants, not only in North Carolina, but anywhere. For years I worked in the area at a small, family owned resort spa and sent countless guests on the 20 minute journey to discover amazing food in a wonderful atmosphere. Whether they were guests from large cities around the U.S. with countless options of fantastic food as the norm, mountain bikers up for a weekend, or international guests, they came by raving about their new favorite dish! (My all time favorite is Andalusia...vegetarian dish, even though I'm not a vegetarian).

With fresh, locally grown ingredients, and an owner/chef with an uncanny knack for blend flavors in a way that creates a truly delightful party in your mouth, Spring Street Cafe is a destination in itself.

The waitstaff are knowledgeable and friendly. With this unique blend of cool, comfortable, eclectic atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and phenomenal food in quaint downtown Sylva, it is a must for anyone visiting the area.

The only warning is that the hours might catch you by surprise, so if you're making a special trip to Sylva to eat a Spring Street, it is not a bad idea to call ahead. I think they are closed on Monday.
