Definitely get the fried chicken and end your meal with a piece of pie. If you want to try something specifically central Illinoisian, get a horseshoe or a ponyshoe - you won't be sorry!

Very tasty food. Fried chicken was excellent. Buffet was superb. Wait staff was extremely friendly, as was the owner and manager.
