Open since May 2008, there is one restaurant in particular that is beginning to capture the hearts of many. Spice Monkey Restaurant in Oakland can be best described as eclectic California fusion cuisine that represents several world flavors and seasonings in one bite; also known as, what the Bay Area has been waiting for. Located in the Oaksterdam District (between Downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt), the restaurant is quaint, with a lively color scheme, a fireplace and artistically detailed furniture.
