About Sis's Restaurant Bar and Catering
Mildred, "Sis," had became very popular with her home cooked specials, along with a piece of pie and a cup of coffee.
In 1981 "Sis" had decided that she needed a larger dining venue, so she relocated just two blocks south to 837 Monmouth, where she could take in more patrons and expand her ever growing menu.
In 1998 "Sis's" daughter, Sandy, had started a catering business within the restaurant, since then the catering business has become very successful with offering services for all types of events, gathering, etc.
In 2002 "Sis" had passed on her restaurant to her daughter Sandy, creating an even larger menu to both the dining, and catering business.
Today in 2010 Sandy had purchased the building attached to the restaurant, and is now in the process of renovating to expand the dining venue even further, to better please past patrons, and future patrons to come, she plans on offering outdoor sitting and dining, wifi, and TV's.
Sandy still has patrons from the day the business had started whom love the the great food and friendly service, all within a home-like setting.
Sandy would like to thank all of those who have supported the family business for all these years, and hopes to continue the legacy of Sis's Family Affair.

EXCELLENT chili...!! We ordered 4 ways, and chili cheese coneys and they were great!! Puts Skyline Chili to shame. Only bad comment would have to be the smoke in the restaurant. We are from Ohio and it reinforced to us
