While this restaurant is situated along with a general store and gift shop the lack of frills is more than made up by the local charm of the servers and the terrific food. The food available at Seaside Galley is some of the best in eastern N.C. Seaside specializes in seafood but also has great home made pizza, subs and burgers. The clam chowder is the best I've ever tasted. To add to the experience of great food and charm is the very reasonable prices. I don't know how they do it but the menu prices seem a "roll back in time"

YUK!!! This was the worst "seafood" we have ever tasted. The food was NOT fresh by any means. We ate broiled seafood that was extensively overcooked. Don't waste your time or money!!!
My husband and I just returned home after a great weekend participating in the "Core Sound Decoy Festival". Places to dine on Harkers Island are limited to say the least, but we discovered an absolutely wonderful little restaurant on the main drive.
