Sage Diner doesn't qualify for any stars in my opinion...My mom use to love it until, after her visit from surgery, I took my mom for a bite to eat and just because I wasn't hungry there was a charge of $3.50 for me to sit there..so my mom and I walked out with her still on anesthesia....so we went to the MARLTON DINER instead...never again...Sage is off our list...
how very dissappointed..we weren't charged at the MARLTON DINER...

We went to the Sage, and from beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience. The waitress we had, Allison, was professional, attentitive to detail, and made the overall experience marvelous. If you want to even improve on a great experience, ask for her when you visit.

Eaten at diner for many years; loved my meals, especially the desserts. Five of us went to Sage Diner on Oct 29. Excellent service, wonderful food and disasterous dessert.

Two had chocolate cream pie; filling peeled away from crust oddly. Friend held the plate towards me and asked, "Is that what I think it is?" Green mold was clearly visible throughout the pie. Other person's was moldy as well.

These things happen. I figured we'd speak with the manager, get free meals, at least two, and be done. Nope. Hostess took both desserts. We didn't take pics! Finally the manager came over, exclaimed "Mold?" with disbelief, walked away. When she returned, she said that she'd never seen mold in 16 yrs; said desserts are made every day! This particular pie was certainly not fresh.

She took "the desserts" off the bill - three desserts, total. When I questioned if that was all she was going to do, her response was, "You ate your dinners, didn't you? They were good, weren't they?"

I was stunned into silence by her rudeness. Quickly recovering I told her that I would do my best to ensure that others did not patronize her restaurant in the future. For the cost of a $70 dinner bill, she's getting bad press.

It's a shame. I do love the cheesecake/chocolate mousse/ganache dessert. The food , the prices & the service were wonderful.

My wife and I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. We were seated by the hostess and that was the last employee we saw. No service, no acknowlement we were there. Even the waitresses who walked to their water station evidently did not see us. We got up and left after 10 minutes of watching traffic go by and informed the hostess who had seated us that were were never served. She just looked away.

My Husband & I just had dinner at your diner. Sorry to say it was a disaster, he ordered chopped steak with 2 sides & a salad. The salad was horrible, mainly lettuce, 1 small grape tomato & 3 pcs. of cucumbers along with some onion& a tiny pc. of green pepper. The mushroom gravy was not a brown gravy we don't know what you call it. I had Roast Pork which was on your dinner menu for tonight which was OVER COOKED, the 2 sides I ordered were OK the so called gravy was luke warm & extremely SALTY. I had cream of mushroom soup & that wasn't too bad. The only good thing was the Rice pudding I had ordered. Are you sure you're Greeks? I can't believe how bad the food was tonight. I think we'll stick to breakfast at your diner IF WE COME BACK. Sorry for the complaints but you can't fix things unless you get feed back from your diners. Naomi Kapeghian
PS: We can't wait for the Diamond Diner to open on Rout 38 especially that we won't have to drive as far.
