We lunched here on April 14, and it was one of the worst meals we have ever eaten anywhere. The pork loin was cold and the gravy tastless. The stewed tomatoes were drenched in sugar. The green beans were filled with too much black pepper. The cole slaw had too much horseradish and was inedible. The mashed potatoes were ordinary and cold. We tried the banana pudding and coconut cream pie. The custard in both tasted the same. The ice water had a metalic taste, much like an old school water fountain. A trip to the men's room as we left was a most unpleasant experience. Think the odor of an outhouse on a hot summer day. The room was filthy and really needed cleaning. We should have continued on to the Cracker Barrel up the hill!

An excellent place for a home-style southern meal.
Nothing fancy...2 specials a day...HOMECOOKING at it's finest. No menus....Great sweet tea. Make sure you ask for the Brown Beans with Butter and Onions...Better than Grandma's...Great cheeseburgers as well. No Fries....You won't leave hungry. I

One of our favorite places to stop when driving I81. Always had a good meal and the deserts are great. A must side dish is the baked tomatoes.
