A diner from Florence, CO
Nov 3, 2010
The food was just plain bland despite the half and half green chile ordered (perhaps mild was used instead?). The plates were an unappetizing heap of pale refried beans, rice and cheese-not a vegetable in sight! A little tomato, pepper and cilantro would have gone a long way.
Worst of all was the service. Despite the fact that my companion and I were the only patrons at the time, meals were slow to arrive. The waitress never checked to see if our meals were satisfactory or if we needed anything else (she was engrossed in a TV show). It took her several minutes to figure out the restaurant did not take Discover cards, then took an additional 6 minutes to make change from cash payment.
