What a find! If you're hungry for the Crescent City, you've found it here in SA. Had boudin w/ red beans and rice - the best. Had a sample of her gumbo - I'm going back w/ friends. Now located @ 1816 N. New Braunfels since Nov 2010. Ma Harper will do you right.
This restaurant has a fun, friendly atmosphere. You will love the experience. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great service, and fun surroundings. The music is great and the live bands are wonderful.

As far as dining goes, the Manhattan's food is definitely sub par. The food is overpriced without the emenities of chips and salsa as a free appetizer. Mexican Manhattan has the best enchiladas I've ever had...they have a unique sauce and chili that cannot be found elsewhere. Although they do not give you free chips and salsa as an appetizer, the plates come with plenty of food to fill you up...and their tea usually keeps coming!

Great small place, it really does remind me of the Rio Grande Valley.
This is a very good small family run restaurant. The breakfast special 3 tacos for $2.99 is a great deal. And the salsa is to die for.
