I've been going to Fishmongers for more than 20 years now. The quality hasn't changed even as they grew. Try the Baked Ocean Scallops or the Crawfish Etuoffee, it's the best Etuoffee I've had anywhere. It's made with good, spicy dark brown roux, not the clear roux so many places in Dallas use....
I am a widower and apart from the usual crap fast food restaurants I make it a point to dine out to please my taste buds at least every other week along with my "care giver". Fishmonger's has been on my circuit for years (even before I fell to my present state) IMO the best part of going to Fi...
This is a fun place to go for casual dining with a friendly atmosphere, a wait-staff eager to please, and a brunch on the weekends that is outstanding. Another plus is that you can order lunch portions for small dinner appetites. The fish and chips is one of my favorite entrees.

Really good burgers and terrific shakes. Curly fries are tasty as well. Varied menu with good choices, all cooked to perfection. Kid-friendly atmosphere.

The food was excellent. The menu consisted of unusual, creative dishes as well as the usual items found at a Japanese restuarant. We will definately go back.

The food is always fresh and the sauces are great. One of my favorite Chinese Restaurants ever.
Been to a heck of a lot better places, very surprised they are in Texas.
Unfortunately, this restaurant has changed owners and the new owners have not maintained the quality of the food or the friendly atmosphere that used to prevail here. We used to go often, but probably will not return after our last visit.
The waitress was attentive and friendly. We tried the Mexican shrimp cocktail which proved to be lacking in flavor. The shrimp themselves had little to no flavor and seemed to have sat in water a bit too long. The pontchartrain was nice though weak on flavor. The fried scallops were tasty and the cr...
They overcharged me (by mistake) and I informed them of this. After 3 months and 3 letters, they have not even responded to me. All I wanted was for a few dollars to be refunded. NO big deal. I am not upset at losing the money...but I am upset that they don't care enough to even give me the cour...
The food was ok...nothing special. The thing that bothered me was the fact of cockroaches in the sugar bowl on my table and a roach climbing up the wall beside my table. I couldnt finish my meal. so at this point I would NOT recommend this resturant to anyone.
The standard of food has definately gone down. Used to be great and now it's just average, tastes like frozen. Since the move has lost the atmosphere. Would not go back.
Fishmonger was for many years one of our favorites. This was prior to the move across the parking lot. The last 2 times we went in.... not so good. It was my favorite place for a dinner salad. They used to have chilled plates and the freshest lettuce ever. I started chilling my plates at home be...
Chuck's has lost much of its luster and quality in the past couple of years. Although it is still good, there are MUCH better burgers out there if quality and taste are what you are after.
Started with oysters which were a little watery, not much flavor. Combo appetizer plate was ok but obviously prebought frozen. Catfish was limp, again frozen. Pasta was good. Would not recommend this reataurant.

Not bad for pizza, but in Chicago it would be poor - bland ingredients, blah crust. It's edible, but not a good value. ChicagosFinestPizza is slightly better-still not great.
This place stinks. They make 90% of there food at a comissary (different location) off of Harry Himes in Dallas and truck it in daily from this nasty, and dirty place. The service is 1970's style. slooow. Chips taste like they were made several days ago...shocked they are still in business after all...
