We enjoyed an evening meal at The Banana Leaf in early July, I had the Panag, it was WONDERFUL.. we had an eggroll appetizer, also wonderful.
Now if I could only cook this way..
Very good food and experience.
Excellent thai food I've ever had in this city!Their red and green curry is delicious! I would definitely recommend this place to thai food lovers1
The service was incredible, and despite the popularity of the place we did not feel overcrowded. The food was terrific. We had a wonderful experience.
I had one of my most enjoyable meals ever at Three Forks. The steak was fantastic and the service was wonderful. I plan on going back whenever I'm in Dallas. Not a cheap place, but you get your monies worth.
The food was great. But I was unimpressed with the service. Maybe my expectations were too high though. The server kept talking about how they do "continuous service" and at first was real proud of it, but later blamed the fact they have "continuous service" for why it took 30 minutes for our salads...
Went back for the 6th time to this restaurant. Service, attentiveness, pace of meal courses and quality of food was superb as it was for prior 5 times. A hallmark establishment for the city of Dallas.
Texas steak... Sounds good to a starving New Yorker after a long day's work in Dallas summer heat. Who knew I'd be taken back to my days as a Manhattan waitress?! The Butcher Shop, in fairness, has excellent meat. (Which one is welcome to cook one's self, although it isn't recommended.) The atmopher...
the food was not that good and they do not honor the prices on the menu and when asked we were told that they had given us an old menu and they are sorry for the mix up.
My wife and I dined at Newports prior to going to the Dave Matthews Band concert at the AA Center. My first impression was that it was a nice, small, and intimate restaurant. The service was impecable. We started with a calamari appetizer which was delicious. They just melt in your mouth. I the...
they have some good dumplings and do not mind making vegetarian requests at all. the waitstaff is tolerable but possibly burnt out from having been working there forever.shouldn't have changed the name from new big wong. and they need to be set up for internet delivery orders...
Our server took forever to greet and he never dropped by to see how we were doing. Our steaks came out and there was no juice left in them, they appeared to be about 2 weeks old. Everything took forever and I felt very crowded.
Tried to enjoy a nice porkchop dinner, the service was unbearably slow, the food was dry, and very pricey..
Next time we'll have drink and enjoy the view and skip the dinner.
The service was terrible and I didn’t even get a smile. When I ordered my food it was also dry and I didn’t even eat it. When desert came, it was the wrong thing and I told my waiter that it was labeled as a different desert at the door display. He argued with me about how I was wrong and when he...
Why did we decide to have an anniversary dinner there? Because besides just celebrating with drinks and dinner, we thought the ambience of the tower and the view would make it more special. We were disappointed with the service and the food for the prices they charge. We tell all our friends when co...
Prices are higher than usual
I have eaten atis place 5 or 6 times. An OK place for texmex but not what other reviews have described. I may eat here again but there are other places around that will compete.
Excellent fried rice (chicken, pork, or beef). Bo Bo Fried rice is pricey. The wait staff is friendly. Great for call-in orders when you're not up to cooking and driving home from work.
Another family run restaurant. The food is avrage
but in good portions.
