this is a small place with great food. the seafood is great especially the clams
Maroni's has by far in my book the best pizza in the area. Although they do have a bar and a couple of booths to sit at, they are more of a take out style eatery. After saying that, however, they doo have a larger open area with tables, chairs, and a juxbox for partys or large get togethers. The ...
Awesome food! Big portions for cheap!!
KELLY'S PUB AND EATERY SERVES THE BEST HOT WINGS IN THE AREA. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT AND IT WAS KID FRIENDLY.
We love Kelly's. They are truly the place for hot wings! The service is great and it is a very kid friendly place to eat.
The wings are good, but there's not much more to recommend about this place as a restaurant.

Good Sesame Chicken and boneless ribs. They used to have string beans, but got rid of them. One of the better buffets in Scranton.
There are few soups better than Cooper's seafood bisque - thick, creamy, not the lease bit fishy or lumpy - a bowl and a huge baked potato make a great dinner for under $7. How can you not love a restaurant that has a life-size whale hanging from the ceiling? Beware, on Fridays and Saturdays, expect...
Ever since my daughter enrolled at the University several years ago, we have been a regular at Cooper's when in town visiting. Although I was very pleased with the overall value, I was even more impressed with the quality and quantity of the food served. As for the staff, they are friendly, knowle...
Incredibly overrated seafood place. The soups and pub grub are usually reliable and their beer list is excellent. Beyond that, the place feels more like slightly upscale fast food. Thin slices of tuna cooked beyond recognition and most other fish drowning in heavy cream and cheese sauces plus a t...
We generally aren't seafood fans, but because of the good ratings, we tried it. The seafood was great! Friday evening, the parking lot was nearly full, but we still got seated immediately. We'll be back!
A great value. Entrees average $12-$13 and you get more food than most humans can eat in one sitting. The food is above average, (the free garden salad has mixed greens, not just iceberg). The setting and the staff are causual/friendly.

Alfredo's has great food but bottom line it is WAY OVERPRICED and it TAKES TOO LONG TO GET ANYTHING no matter what time of day it is. TAKE OUT IS TERRIBLE. Great food but don't have anywhere to go or expect it to be correct & then when it takes over an hour and it's wrong don't expect management t...

We visited the restaurant for our first time on Friday night @ 7:00. We waited about 20 min. for salad, and soup, the waiter brought us bread after, which we were waiting to have it with our salads. My entree, pecan-encrusted sole wasn't good at all, the fish smothered in a honey-lime sauce which wa...
I could't wait to try Cooper's I saw their ad in Happening's magazine. I found the food to be fair at best. The Crab Bisque which claimed had been in Bon Appetite magazine tasted like cod with flour and milk. The seasonal beer I had was outstanding. The piece of haddock I tasted was to dry. I did e...
It was OK. Nothing great!
The restaurant was empty and it took over an hour just to get my salad, our entrees didn't arrive for another 20 minutes after that and it wasn't prepared the way I had asked. The server was kind and apologetic but I wouldn't go back again.
We were here about a year ago but the place has slipped horribly since then. The food quality was horrid and the preparation not much better. We had to wait forever for our server but those items weren't even the bad part. There is absolutely no excuse for the uncleanliness. Soap is cheap and virtua...
A far cry from what it used to be. The beer selection and ambiance are good but the food quality was very poor and cleanliness was even wosre. I cannnot understand why any business owner would ever think that he or she can rest on what was a good reputation and think it will ever stay good.
I grew up in Scranton and return often to visit. Having eaten at Coopers many years ago a few of us decided to dine there. The ambiance is quite unique and they have a large beer menu. It was without a doubt the worse dining experience of my life. The food was vextremely low quality and poorly prepa...
