I love this place. It's friendly and the food is delicious. It's a perfect place to take the family and have a good time.
This is a great place to eat!! The food is homemade and is nothing short of perfection. You couldn't ask for a more reasonably priced, warm, welcoming atmosphere that is accompanied by friendly service. I highley recommend trying Joe Roots.

The best local Mexican food available. Many recipes are from the heart of Mexico so do not expect only "Tex-Mex" As good as anythng I have eaten in Mexico City!
The service and ambience can't be topped in Erie--on par with most nicer places in bigger cities. Our dinners were extraordinary (sauteed seabass and pan-seared ahi tuna), and with the open kitchen you can see just how clean it is (you can watch the chefs, who wear gloves, cook your meal). Food tasted cold and old. The staff acted very put out with us there. Didn't want to help much. Very low class atmosphere. Never going back.
Went back for the first time in a couple years and found it to have improved in that time. I think with the Golden Corral now in town, they had to step up some. The food selection was better, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was improved too. Keep up the good work OCB.

We ate at this restaurant trying to find "authentic" italian. Should of went to the Olive Garden. The service was slow and not very friendly. The menu was VERY basic. Nothing inventive or even somewhat creative. The sauce tasted canned and the "fresh" pasta was over cooked and tasted gummy. Th...

The Colony has an excellent selection on its menu. There are also daily specials which offer a great value. My wife and I have eaten there numerous times and have not had a bad meal.
