Not bad if you're hungry. But doesn't do New Mexican food justice.
EXCELLENT seafood Mexican restaurant! The grilled whole fish is wonderful...not greasy and meaty. My husband enjoyed shrimp stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon...delicious! We used to eat here all the time. That is until about a year ago when not only did our favorite server leave (paige) but the only person who knew how to cook left as well. It has been a constant turn around of servers and the food quality has gone downhill ever since.
There are alot of Mexican places in ABQ but Papa Felipe's has good food and most excellent MARGARITAS. The lunch menu and happy hour specials make this place a go to for good food at a good price. Worth checking out.

We were visiting from Louisiana. Best food, staff, & sunset! We went 3 times. Best coconut margarita EVER. Will go there again, it is well worth the drive. Looking forward to our next trip to ABQ and Sandiago's.
