For a good lunch with a friendly atmosphere the downstairs bar is great. Service can be slow, but the bartender is the waitress as well. They all do a great job. Luncheon specials cant be beat!
"The Red Barn Diner" (formerly "Shirley D's") is rising above what "Shirley D's" once was. The place was packed this morning, the food was good, and service excelent.
Shirley D's has always been a nice place to eat. I see do not a difference in the waiting staff since the change of ownership. The food is still good old yankee grub. The bad review that I saw must have come from the competion. I think that all reviews MUST INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE REVIEWER.
This was the absolute WORST food experience ever!!! Bellagio's was our takeout restaurant of choice for an office meeting consisting of 8 people. Our order was called in at 11:15am with the desire to have it delivered for 12:30pm. The person on the phone said they would have it to us by that time. N...
great food; great service and atmosphere; they make you feel like your home.
Food is good at a reasonable price. Home made soups and desserts, hard to beat that. Friendly waitresses. The diner is also open 24 hours on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There's alot more room than in the Red Arrow, and rarely a wait for tables. Good place to go after work, or if bored with n...
Keep away, the food, staff, environment, and the clealiness are not worth going there. Good luck to anybody who eats there. It sucks.
over all just a great place to eat
Went in on a thursday nite, busy but pretty quick service, drinks on time and refilled, food within 20 minutes. The portions are huge for what you pay. Plus if you want to feed a bunch of people a large cheese pizza is only 6 dollars. I will continue to go to seasons.
I use to go the shirley d's when I was younger and it is completely different now. The waitresses use to know your name when you walked in the door. It was a friendly and inviting place. Now under new ownership the quality of the food has gone down dramatically. I actually had food poisoning from mu...
I didn't go in to eat, I ordered delivery. The food was incredible and I was amazed at the size of the portions! I don't think I'd bring my children to a "pub" anyway, so it's not even a question. With the good food, I might go and try some evening for laid back time with friends.
This place was the worst place!! The waitress was rude & made it clear we were bothering her by asking for explanation of the charges. We didn't even get a receipt!!!!! We will never return and won't recommend it to our friends.
A definite 2 thumbs up for this place! We've been going to Shirley D's since last fall, 2008. They serve breakfast all day, their deserts are fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. We have been pleased with everything that we've ever ordered. Their burgers and fries are the best in the area. ...
Great food for a great price. Old school diner experience. I enjoyed the friendliness of the waitstaff and cooks.
Don't even bother going to the second floor. It's horrendous. it's like if you put carpet in an old barn & called it a lounge with a few old dart boards & old off level pool tables. the downstairs bar is OK if you can get service, which is slow. ALL the table seats are BROKEN in the booths with stic...
This diner was one of the worst places I have ever ate at. It was very dirty and cold. The service was the worst.
Love the food, great place, want to go back!
I walked into a friendly atmosphere were I was greeted by everyone. The walls were decorated with a very nice display of sports pictures, and the ceiling was lit-up with very fancy lamps. I then sat at one of the comfy booths, and reviewed the well put together menus. I decided on a turkey club, and...
It's a place where my fiance and I choose to eat at the late night. It's not only 24 hours diner, it's also waitresses friendly and affordable price. The food is terrific. If you visit from 11.30pm to 3.30 am, it might too crowd.
We Had a great time at Salona the food was AWESONE and the service was the best!!!!!!
