I didn't go in to eat, I ordered delivery. The food was incredible and I was amazed at the size of the portions! I don't think I'd bring my children to a "pub" anyway, so it's not even a question. With the good food, I might go and try some evening for laid back time with friends.
Don't even bother going to the second floor. It's horrendous. it's like if you put carpet in an old barn & called it a lounge with a few old dart boards & old off level pool tables. the downstairs bar is OK if you can get service, which is slow. Went in on a thursday nite, busy but pretty quick service, drinks on time and refilled, food within 20 minutes. The portions are huge for what you pay. Plus if you want to feed a bunch of people a large cheese pizza is only 6 dollars. I will continue to go to seasons.
For a good lunch with a friendly atmosphere the downstairs bar is great. Service can be slow, but the bartender is the waitress as well. They all do a great job. Luncheon specials cant be beat!

Shirley D's has always been a nice place to eat. I see do not a difference in the waiting staff since the change of ownership. The food is still good old yankee grub. The bad review that I saw must have come from the competion. I think that all reviews MUST INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE REVIEWER.
