This restraunt has went down hill over the years it use to be the best fish every now the grees can be old the service can be poor. I don't go there anymore it just seems they no people come from all over so they don't put any pride in it

The food is OK, but be warned it can be greasy. not a good idea if you have a bareatric guest. There is also a reason why this place is sometimes known as "ghetto Chinese". complaints aside, they are fairly cheap, so you get what you pay for.

If you have never had Alvarados... you are missing out. The tacos are the BEST!! They are also open ALL THE TIME! Get the beef tacos and some extra sauce.. the sauce is hot but not so hot it ruins the meal. Bring a big appetite!
