I would say this is the best Vietnamese place here in the Triad. You must try their PHO and spring rolls... it is their specialty. I am always satiated when I leave... and looking forward to my next visit. :)
Bert's has a new location in Greensboro. Since there move, not only is the food innovative and inviting, but the atmosphere is as well. They have moved to a better neighborhood and the atmosphere now equals the level of service (linen tablecloths and all!). They also now take reservations as well.
Berts is where I go when I have business visitors. The food and service there never fail to impress my clients and help me win orders.
now in the NEW BUILDING! and atmosphere has changed but ambiamce still great and selection improved- wonderful shellfish and always THE best fresh fish -great desserts... not a spot to take the toddlers, but who couldn't love a Grownup Only Restaurant!

A cozy little restaurant with a very inviting atmosphere. It's not required but its the kind of place you'd like to dress up for dinner for. Have tried several dishes and have never been disappointed. Service is excellent. Definitely the place to bring a date.
Hibachi outings are most fun when you go w/ a group so that you know everyone at your table (tables seat about 8-10 people). Arigato happens to be my favorite Japanese restaurant in GSO. Teriyaki dishes are fantastic (particularly, the lobster)! I question their authenticity a little bit, as recentl...
I found Bert's to have some of the best seafood in town. I'd describe it as wildly creative and delicious dishes, in a warm, energetic atmosphere. They have a fun method of placing a number "1", "2" or "3" by your menu selection, which indicates the number of sides you get. Sides range from vegetabl...

Being an italian native, brick oven pizza has always been a staple. Elizabeth's off of Wendover has the absolute best brick oven pizza I have tasted in Greensboro to date. Staff is polite and the native neopolitans are always a pleasure and willing to exchange some conversation. They take the extra ...
Very well prepare seafood and other selections. Upscale food in a dumpy little place. Neighborhood where located not so great, concret block building sort of the old family diner style. Food prepared and service like a 5 star restaurant. Don't take reservations. Long wait on holidays (Valenties...
The food is very good and the service is always friendly and fast.

I tried the sezchuan chicken and I thought it didn't even resemble what I thought this dish tasted like. I am having trouble finding a good chinese restaurant in Greensboro.
having received a tip from a UNC-Chapel Hill student last winter (who calls Greensboro home), i decided to try it for myself. virtually every saturday since then, i find myself making the 50-mile journey from Chapel Hill to dine there. with the above listed ratings as a guide, let me now offer...
as a chapel hill resident, i often find it difficult to find dining establishments which offer quanity and quality at a reasonable price. for this reason, on most saturdays, i find myself travelling some 50 miles to greensboro to dine here. GVG'S menu changes frequently, most generally every 4-6...
Great atmosphere for a business meal or to wind down after a long meeting. I especially recommend the shrimp and grits MINUS the hot sausage. Their salads are great. All their fish plates are excellent. Blackened catfish -- extraordinary. Spicy.
the good overall is very tasteful, but the service is horrible. customers should be greated by happy friendly faces.
Generous protions and great food. My favorite entree is the caribean salmon. Service is usually good but it can vary. They don't take reservations but call ahead to have your name put on the wait list.
