I have eaten there often and really enjoyed it every time. I don't care for sushi but i took a friend who does and now its one of his favorite places to eat. I have eaten at the one on Hendersonville Road and found it to be enjoyable also. Thank you for your service

I went here while visiting family in Asheville for Christmas last year. The staff was extremely helpful. Coming from a big town, it's nice to see the "small town dinner" atmosphere still exists. You could tell who had been coming there for years and who was visiting. However, their staff treated e...
Good food and good value.

Consistently great service, creative food, one of the best and most romantic atmospheres in Asheville. And a haute children's menu to boot. We have been on several occasions, and it is our favorite place to bring friends.

Food was OK for the price. They advertise for free kids meal after 4 - not true. They will still charge you even after asking them about it. Not very nice especially if you're just passing through and on the budget. Over rated, country fried steak mediocre, not very clean, servers acts like it'...
THE TASTE IS VERY GOOD BUT THE FOOD IS ALWAYS COLD. IF IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HOT IT SHOULD BE. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT? I THOUGHT FOOD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE KEPT AT 200f. THIS WAS MY FAVORITE RESTURANT BUT WE HAVE ALMOST QUIT GOING. THEM WE WILL TRY AGAIN & FOOD IS ALWAYS COLD.
We recently had the privilege of dining at the Sunset Terrace, one of the dining venues at the Grove Park. What a fabulous meal! The steaks were excellent, the seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared! The wine list was huge and provided the perfect addition to the meal! Make the Sunset Terrace a mu...

Everytime i'm in Asheville I stop by the Moose Cafe. Best country ham and biscuits I have ever had. Moose Cafe now has another restaurant located in Greensboro at the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market. I live and work less than 10 miles from the restaurant. My coworkers and I love to eat there during o...

Whenever we pass through Asheville we go to the wonderful Farmers Market and we(husband, me, 3 kids) love to stop at the Moose Cafe. Fried chicken good. Their smoked porkchops are great, moist, comforting. The pinto beans and their own label chow chow are also great. But it would be enough reason to ...
This is a very good place to eat if you like real Asian type food. I go at least once a month, if not more.

The decor was very nice. The food was nicely prepared, delicious and presented in an attractive manner. All of that could not overcome the rudeness of the waiter. He had some snide remark when he picked up the appetizer dishes that we had cleaned up the appetizers. Then when he picked up my entre...
Beyond A+. The food is always consistent and great. Meals are served quickly, efficiently and always with smiling staff members. The value is the best in town and the plates are bountiful with food. You will never be hungry when you leave.

My husband and I ate at Sugo's last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was incredible. We ordered the duck confit crostini appetizer with goat cheese and it was delicious. We shared the Caesar salad wrapped in proscuitto. It was very good. Next time I'll ask them to omit the an...

I have been dying to try this restaurant since moving to Asheville and finally went today. I hate to say it, but I am a huge fan of Cracker Barrel and was truly hoping that this was better. I would MUCH rather go somewhere run by locals. I ordered chicken and dumplings (my fav), mashed potatoes a...
I have no idea how Appolo Flame keeps winning the "best of" distinctions. Let me first give the positives... The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is easygoing and the setup seems good for families. The portions of food you get for the $$$ are unreal. If you're just talking about pure qua...
I can see why Apollo Flame keeps winning Best of..... in local papers. Food is fresh and tasty. My family from NY thinks the pizza is wonderful (and it is a tough crowd to please). Service is great. They are usually on a wait on the weekends which isn't long because they turn the tables quickly....

We stopped on our way to Lake Junaluska for a retreat. 22 ladies piled out of our vehicles and we all were from different walks of life. I was nervous because I was the newest one there and I was still getting to know these ladies. But, when I walked in to the cafe', I was immediately at ease and co...

There's almost always a line at the Moose Cafe and for good reason. If you're lucky, you'll get to sit in the back room with large windows looking out on the beautiful Biltmore Estate and blue ridge mountains and folk art covering ht walls. Once you pick your meat and three dinner form their menu of...

Just happened to take the exit by the Moose Cafe while traveling from Knoxville, TN to Durham, NC. Wonderful restaurant with delicious food, great home cooking, food served very quickly and portions were large. Will definately make the Moose Cafe a planned stop on our next trip to Tennessee.
I've eaten at Vincenzo's many times. The food has been consistently excellent, as has the service (even when the restaurant is full). It's not cheap, but for what you get and in comparison to nice restaurants around the country, the value is great. There is a bar downstairs (I think you can o...
