Hops BBQ is an excellent place for great bbq. It is a good old timey restaurant. It has a look of an old place, and smells of a backyard bbq. Service was excellent and the food was both flavorful and tender.
Great Bar-B-Que and wonderful homecooking!! Chicken Pot Pie is out of this world delicious. Desserts are wonderful. Owner will come out and talk to you. A great down home feeling and great food!!
I LOVE Jed's! Their fish is fantastic! Thursday night is the all you can eat baby flounder for $4.99. They bring out 4 big pieces.
Their peach cobbler is the best in town. Their vegetables are so good that you have to get there early before they run out.

I love to eat at Jed's. I live in Denton, but travel to Asheboro frequently to eat at Jed's. I especially love the homemade Chicken and Dumplings served each Monday. Any Monday that I am off of work I always make a trip to Asheboro to eat those delicious dumplings.

My mother & I were traveling on Thanksgiving and stayed in Asheboro, NC.@ The Hampton Inn. They provided a list of restaurants open that evening. We chose the K&W Cafeteria. We had the "special" which was turkey, dressing (outstanding!), 2 veg, roll, pie and tea for $5.99! Delicious doesn't begin...
Good value, fast service. As of Feb09, they still didn't serve alcohol. Doesn't matter to me one way or the other, but it might make a difference to some.

Food depends entirely on what you order. Chicken dishes etc are great. Any so called pork dishes however, aren't made from pork and taste bland. Just ordered delivery and was given the wrong sandwich. I called and reluctantly they delivered the sub I ordered. Then the driver asked for the other one back. YUCK!!! Do you think he was hungry or they plan to give it the poor soul who ordered that one in the first place.
We love Medo's and everything we've ever ordered from there! EXCELLENT!

Medo's is the best place for Italian food! They have the best fettucini alfredo and calzones. Their prices are reasonable and they have fast delivery service.

Clean, friendly service, good food, but small portions and their prices are a little high for what you get in my opinion.
Good food, fast friendly service, affordable prices.... what more can you ask for in a restaurant? Okay, so maybe the "ambiance" isn't the greatest, but the chicken-n-dumplings on thursday make up for any shortcomings. Taste just like mom made em. :)
How this place stays in business is beyond me. My kids absolutely love their pizza, but I detest going there. ALWAYS filthy. Floor, tables, salad bar... (wouldn't eat off that salad bar if you paid ME!) Matter of fact, I've stopped eating when I go. I just get a drink.
