Worst experience of my life
From Lee's Summit, MO I've been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years and is the best Mexican restaurant in Kansas City. There tamales are fresh and the pork chili is out of this world.(FANTASTIC). You can have your choice of the way you want your food. Cheese or no cheese, plain or the works!...
their tamales are the best ever! and we love tamales, even tried some in Mexico. the sauce and flavor is unbelievable. The price is awesome too. great place, better than Manny's.
This is an excellent "hole in the wall" restaurant. The only place my husband and I will eat Mexican!
The cucumbers on the salad appeared to have been sliced 3 days before they were served and were in bad shape. The french fried potatoes with my overpriced KC steak were standard grocery store frozen french fries. This was the worst meal we had over a 5 day stay in KC.
This is by far the best mexican restaurant I've ever been to. Very similar (if not the same) as the restaurant that was home to that space for years. My family has gone to it at least once a month for 30 years. Pretty spicy so beware. Well worth the trip!
Esta muy rica la comida y la atencion personalizada de sus dueƱos lo hace aun mejor. Felicidades!!!
Highly recommended dining experience, day or evening, the ambience and the food are equally wonderful with Old World charm and a variety of healthy choices on the menu. Once for an unexpected business group of 12 very efficient and gracious. Once a celebration of a family birthday for an octagenari...
The food is awesome and the atmosphere is very laid back.
I eat there at least 2 or 3 times a week. VERY Good, Great service. The Beef Tacos are the best.
Been going there for 6 years
Worst "fine dining" experience of my life. Service was awful...food was cold...don't go!
Unbelievably good food! The pork chili is the best I've found in Kansas City. They catered a reception at our home with over 150 guests and the food and service was amazing. It is definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner.
Oh wonderful food, the hot dogs, polish, and swedish meatballs are to die for and the owner MS Debi is charming and voluptous. It worth the trip just to see the owner and taste the Food.
Also the bar is full of characters from Halibut to Ellen.
I normally don't like to try new places. But after seeing the reviews I thought I would give it a try. The service was good and the food was even better. I give Los Tules 2 thumbs up.
My favorite place for Mexican. We go once a week no matter what..it's hot so beware but OMG it's oh so good!! A must for the Mexican food lover!!
I make the trip from Johnson County KS. at least 3 to 4 times a month. They have a taste all of their own, there is no one around that compares. I always over order knowing that the remainder will make a nice treat the next day.
We resorted to the Brasserie after learning Benton's was closed on a Monday evening. We were pleased. Business looked slow and most of the restaurant was roped off except for the bar area. We each ordered a salad ("Chop" salad I believe) which was absolutely excellent. Our entrees were the fried flo...
- Excellent, authentic Mexican food.
- Chips and salsa included with meal.
- Tacos and tamales are some of the best I have ever eaten.
- Fast, friendly service.
- That wonderful, "home cooked" flavor and aroma.
I discovered this restaurant (quite literally by following my nose from a nearby ...
It's a family owned business. Great prices in a very relaxed atmosphere. It has a wonderful spicy flavor that tastes like real mexican. If you think Taco Bell is good you won't like this. The pork chili is the best you will ever find.
