Worst ribs I have ever had. Fatty, fatty, fatty. There was fat between the layers of meat, fat on top of the meat. Gross!!
I have always loved eating at this restaurant, the old and the new. The food is great, the servers are fast, but so they deserve the harsh treatment they receive? I've been coming there for lunch and dinner many years, and Cheaps still has the same slobby manager Joyce, who mistreats her employees. ...
This is one of the best places in Port Huron to eat. The prices are good and the food is excellent. I would recommend Cheap Charlies to everyone.
I have a family of five and it was great the kids love it the food was great from the steak lover to the vegatarian in the family. Price was very reasonable.
I love the ribs the are very tender and fall off the bone delicious. The steaks are seasoned just right. I love the bread stix.
I eat China Wok at least twice a month, it is the greatest food! The staff is extremely friendly and the restuarant is always clean...General Tso's chicken is the greatest!
This is the original Coney Island in Port Huron.. founded in 1923. I had breakfast...with eggs that were done just exactly right. My wife had a coney..the best she's had in the whole area.. It's a real "trip back in time" and well worth the visit!
I was born in Port Huron in 1954, and grew-up on these coney dogs. Even when I moved to the Detroit area, I had to make a Port Huron trip every few months to solve my coney craving. I've lived in Phoenix the past 12 years. What do I miss the most. Those damn coney dogs! Wish I could have them ma...
I grew up in Port Huron and lived there until I went into the Military in 1954. Coney island was the "Hot Spot" to go and hang with your friends. The "Dogs" are the greatest and the sauce really adds to their flavor. When I visit Pt Huron it is a "MUST" that we visit Coney Island and re-live the ...
Going home for 50th class reunion in two weeks. This will be one of my first stops when I get into Port Huron. Can't find them out here.
If you've eaten in one....you've eaten in all of them. If you've never eaten in one...you should try it. Try the biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast...it's a good value.
We had dinner there recently....and tried to keep it somewhat dietary. That's hard to do but we managed...with the grilled catfish. It was good, as were the side dishes. The service was great!
Good food, especally the Cod Fish dinner. Reasonably priced. Has a somewhat smokey atmosphere.
Great food, service and the view is something. Had live music on Friday nights. Great spot!
Nice view of the Blue water bridge. As far as the food, low grade steak quality(commercial grade steaks)not the Choice or select the owner claims. They have "dummy downed" the quality....and are still selling it off as premium.True restaurant goers no the difference, might have the locals fooled, no...
Located atop the tallest building in Port Huron, the Fog Cutter has a commanding view of the St. Clair River and Canada. Add to this, the fine food and service....you end up with a great dining experience.
We had a very enjoyable evening. The waitress was very up-front about the dishes she'd heard good things about and those she hadn't. The food was excellent...some of the best we've had in this area.
Great experience, staff, food, view and had a very inviting wine list. I ordered the black'n blue filet it was the best!
Great steamed dumplings and overall good food. All items are made without MSG for those of us who are allergic. It's more of a to-go style resturant. Very nice people, and family operated. Tip them!
Junk! Gourmet Burgers my BUTT. They have switched to lower quaility food in the past year or so. Used to have a good chicken and dumpling, now it's crappy! BLT was full of junky bacon. Oh well, back to Rum Runners.....at least they seem to get it.
