If you are looking for an authentic place to dine, try this place. The restaurant serves real Korean authentic dishes. Some dishes may be a bit spicy ,but you can order depending on how hot you can take it. The menu has a variety of chinese and japanese dishes too.
Worst service I have had in my life. The food was not good enough to off set the bad service. Our server never asked us how the meal was or offered us desert because after we ordered we had to chase her down to get anything including silver ware. To top it all, we had to wait over a half hour to get m...
My family lives in Florida and on a recent trip home to visit friends and family we went out to dinner at Great Lakes Shipping Co in Kalamazoo. In hindsight, I would have rather gone to eat at TGI Friday's, Bennigan's, or even McDonald's. I'm sure this was a great place to go around 20 years ago ...
The best restaurant i've been to in kalamazoo. They have excellent cooks and the service was the outstanding!
Great Lakes never fails to exceed our expectations on every visit. The food and service are wonderful. This is a great place to be when you want a place with more character and class than a chain restaurant.
It's been here for years, great food w/o surprises, always clean and friendly. I wish they had a buffet!
Great Food!!
Great Wall is a good chinese place. The atmosphere is interesting and the fish tank at the entrance is worth a look...if only to see the fish swimming upsidedown. The chances are "great" that Tom will wait on you. He is pretty dry and doesnt like special orders, but you'll get used to him and he ...
The food is GREAT ! My husband and myself drive from Jackson ( 1 1/2 hr drive) just to eat there. The dinner for 2 with egg drop soup is our order everytime. We throw in beef wonton's and crab rangoon. The sauce on the b.b.g ribs is great ! I suggest go and enjoy !
Truly authentic Chinese food. This place is a classic. Do yourself a favor and try the Warsui Chicken. I've got a friend from plans his Chicago to Livonia (and back) trips around hitting the Westnedge exit of I94 at full-hunger mode.
My son lives/works in/near Kalamazoo. While visiting him, we ate at the Great Wall of China Restaurant. Had the Mongolian Beef--thought it was excellent! Tom waited on us and did a great job. Loved the experience and the food.
They give you a ton of food for the price. Chances are you are going to have some left overs to take home. Full of flavor, and quantity. Travis

I have been eating at this establishment for years, in the past mostly at the hibachi tables (teppanyski style cooking)with other people and have enjoyed the service, the food and the atmosphere. If you do not want to sit at that style of table with other people you can sit in the bar area that has...

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at this restaurant. I found the inside beautiful and the staff very friendly. I had absolutely no complaint with the food quality or price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Hunan's is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. Great food, low prices, and fast, friendly service. I have never been able eat everything on my plate because of the huge portions!

Food is very good particulary the dishes that are similiar to the dishes served at la Cantina in paw paw. Unfortunately, the wait staff needs further training and it is always a bit of a mystery as to what they may be offering on the menu due to constant changes. -- this adds to the uncertainness ...

Nice atmosphere, good service, bad food. Everything had WAY too much garlic. Adding garlic to food doesn't make it Italian any more than pouring milk over it would've made it breakfast cereal. Besides everything having too much garlic, the fish was grossly over cooked, the lasagna had too much sa...

If you are on the hunt for cozy Italian food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. The dishes are generous and they have these amazing drinks on a special menu that are designed just for them with some type of all natural ingredients and local spirits. Overall the service was fantasti...
