Really a hidden treasure. I've been on Sunday for the buffet and during the week. I don't usually eat from buffets, but the food was served by a staff member. The food and the service was wonderful.

My husband works in Charlottesville and always takes people to Maverick's for business lunches. He has never been disappointed. He especially likes their Kansas City Steak Soup. We've been there for dinner as well and enjoyed it a lot.
I really liked their uniqueness of cooking and hospitality. My children liked the food and felt at home there.

Happy Cream has the best atmosphere. The staff is so inviting and hospitable. The food is delicious and they are eager to give you a sample. The ice cream is great, too.
Had the most wonderful dining experience and salads in a long time. If you're looking for people who serve food with care, flavor and a smile, you need to go to Happy Cream for a Black Bottom Salad and ice cream. I send everyone I know.
This place has incredible sandwiches and excellent service. Also, please try the banana pudding ice cream, it's seriously addictive.
