After several visits where we explored the classic Creole menu, we began sampling the nightly special. With that we are told, the chef creates a meal from what is best in the market that day. Service is extremely knowledgible and gracious. The lunch menu explores hard to find local favorites such ...
Arnaud's Richelieu Room offers a completely different experience than the main dining room, which is gloriously sparkling from beveled glass windows and crystal chandeliers. The Richelieu provides a live Dixieland Jazz Band accompanied by the full menu of Creole specialties - it was a rollicking go...
Nice big steak , plenty of fries and steak still cooking when arrives!
We accidentally stumbled across Coop's. We were looking for another place when we had called them (thinking they were the place)...a charming lady named "Fay" told us if we tried her fried chicken, we wouldn't worry about finding the other place....She was soooooo right. Everyone was friendly, and t...
When I lived in New Orleans this is the place that we would take everyone!! It's not the cleanest, but it had GREAT food and it was super fun to sit with a group of people on the big pillows. The fried bananas are to die for!! :o)
Excellent place to just unwind. Drinks are excellent and food is superb....Definitely will return!
The burger is my favorite in the city, far exceeds Port of Call's burger. Love the atmosphere; the courtyard is perfect and very clean. Service is awesome, very friendly. Haven't tried anything else on the menu, but this burger is all I want because it is so good. Awesome drink specials as well and ...
Best jerk chicken outside the islands I've every had. The owner is authentic. It's now a place I go once a month without fail.
Went there for the Boil Shrimp ($5.00) pound.
Not dissapointed at all. Shrimp were very nice size and spiced right.
2nd time back had the Red Beans & Rice. This is a real treat, real ham hocks and all the trimmings.
Don't miss this on Monday's. Going back again.
THE AMBIENCE IS NOT VERY GOOD, STAFF AND FOOD ARE GOOD.
LUNCH SPECIALS VALUE, VERY GOOD. CLEAN.
They have wonderful new orleans style poboys as well as new york style sandwiches. My favorite is the moon sandwich. It got all kinds of stuff on it. I usually only get the half because there's no way i could eat the whole.
I've eaten here on several occasions for take out and the ribs are fantastic. i decided to dine in one Thursday for steak night and i arrived 2.5 hrs after the start, and steaks were sold out, i settled for the fish plate and it was delicious, but i'll be trying to catch the steak night by 4:30 next...
The perfect Sunday Brunch event... an absolutely beautiful outdoor courtyard, a jazz trio (if you go on the right day!) a succulent, never-ending buffet, and waiters that will happily show you how to properly suck the juice out of a crawfish head... what more could you ask for from the New Orleans r...
Great for breakfast, never miss it when we go to New Orleans annually for the French Quarter Festival. Stand at counter and order before you sit down or you will be yelled at, part of the ambience. We have fun watching 1st timers not understanding the process. Debris is GREAT! Po Boys are excepti...
