this place is a city treasure, my parents ate here when they were married, the same year that the joint opened in 1947. I live in Tampa, FL and still rave about this place and my second favorite joint, the Pastime Lounge.

Really bad. My entree was served burned - could not be cut with a knife and the sauce was broken! They also forgot to bring our salad. No one, not the server or the manager seemed to care. Plenty of other great restaurants in this town where I can spend my money. We will NEVER go back.

Overpriced. Clubby like a cool Chicago streak house (maybe one of Rich Melman's Lettuce Entertain You joints) but falls short on value. I went to the location in the Mall of Louisiana and found the food to be just OK...the service was terrible...rude staff behind the food counter...they seemed to be having a very bad day. The best pizza around. Not only is the food wonderful, but the staff is too. They basically focus on one thing, pizza, but they do it well. It is a friendly, neighborhood restaurant and well worth many, many visits.
