I cannot believe that a restaurant like this exists in Joliet. The atmosphere is incredible, it looks as if it should be in the heart of Chicago or New York City. The food was spectacular and the service perfect. Our entire table made reservations for next month before we left.

Grew up in Joliet eating these "Poor Boys" and don't get back often enough. 1st one in over 8 years.Merichkas is still on of my must stops when back in town. Place is old but it goes with what they do and that is great food with outstanding service.

Most of the time the waiters are very friendly. Your food is good and warm when served. Your pecan pancakes are phenomenal, as is your broiled fish. I like the idea of shopping in your country store before or after dinner.
We have eaten @ Bellagio several times when on the road. It is very good. I especially recomment the pastitso.
