My sorority had a breakfast affair there in September. Since I don't travel into the city much for food. I was pleasantly surprised by the elegance of the decor, the helpful wait staff and the enticing and delicious breakfast of sausages, bacon, fried chicken, waffles, grits hash browns, sweet rolls, ...

Excellent choice of foods for vegans and vegetarians. A great variety of dishes, salads, natural/fresh drinks, etc. My personal favorite is the Tofu Scrambler!! They also have a location in Highland Park, Illinois.

I really like their crispy chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato only. I hate their hamburgers, and their fries are soggy. I like the curly fries.
straight out of happy days, with cheese-ball atmosphere. sure, if you want to be insulted and eat very average food, go! otherwise, chicago has too many great places to eat to bother with this.
All I have to say is chain. It's fine for discount happy hour appetizers, but this restaurant is the Chi-Chi's of Southern cooking. If you want GREAT N'awlins cookin' go to Heaven on Seven.
For the price they charge, I expected a steak that would delight my taste buds, instead I got a steak that could have been prepared by my neighborhood 16 year old if they remembered to diligently turn the meat after 6 minutes a side. No seasoning, no rub, no special taste. The baked potato was the...

WAAAY TOO OVER-PRICED! My husband and I ate there for the morning buffet, & it cost us $30.00 for bacon, eggs, & bagels. Also, I didn't leave a tip on the tip line, & they just added in a tip for themselves! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to ANYONE!
This restaurant is not a good place to eat. Today 1/8/09 I was there ordering lunch after convincing myself that to go there again after other bad experiences and this one topped the cake. I witnessed a worker eating food fries off of one plate and something else off another plate before ringing the...
I had a horrible experience. Was asked to wait for our entire party to arrive before being seated. 40 minutes before food was served. Ordered medium well burger, was still red in the middle Bacon on my burger was burnt to a crisp ( black ) When I got my burger cooked again ( 5 minutes later ) t...

They throw napkins everywhere which is fun until you get your food. This particular waitress came over right when we got our food and started throwing napkins. My sister asked her to stop, at which point the waitress threw even more. My sister was visably annoyed and asked her to stop again, then th...

I had lunch at this location and received the worst possible service. First, after being seated, at least ten minutes passed before I finally tired of waiting and I had to ask a hostess who was staffing my table. She had to call the waiter to come to my table to greet me. Second, but more important...
Goose Island used to be a wonderful neighborhood brewpub but with the growth of the Lincoln Park neighborhood this establishment has begun to suffer -- most notably in the area of service. My most recent visit was by far one of the most excruciating experiences of my life. I was seated in the bar ar...

Got my food and was highly disappointed!
The waitress was very rude stuck her tongue out at us when we ordered a shake. When we asked what kind of danish they had, she said didn't you look when you came in? So we had to go look to see what kind they had. Very rude lady.

I will never understand what people like about this restaurant. Neither this location or the Skokie/Old Orchard is anything to boast about. There are exactly two things that are good on the menu besides their namesake (the cheesecakes are delicious). The service is truly horrific. They hire all th...

What words... super, a brilliant idea
I have been going to Lutz since I was a kid. I had my wedding cake from here and continue to pick up cakes and pastries whenever I can. This is truly a Chicago treasure.
