It was tricky to find at first but totally worth the hassle once we arrived. Hello tranquility! Met up with a friend here for some morning coffee. We took our french press down to one of the decks by the river. Great coffee in a lovely setting!

By the way, the Pollo Frito and the fried plantain were wonderful. Also, black beans a rice served with fresh olive oil on the side really schooled me in the basics of Cuban cuisine.

Save yourself, avoid this place like the plague. What can I say? We were served obviously bad food. The Mongolian beef should _NEVER_ have left the kitchen. There simply are no excuses for what we were brought. A simple visual inspection by the staff would have kept this from happening. The taste.....

What a great steak house! McKendrick's has the right combination of great food and great service. I've never had a more pleasurable experience at any steak house in New York or Chicago. Tell your friends that McKendrick's in the perimeter area is the place to go for the best steak in town.
