I went with my parents New Delhi over the weekend. It was my dad's first visit. He said it was better than his favorite restaurants, which had long been his number one. The food was incredible. The service was great. The waiter was nice and was helpful. Plus, he gave us free desserts. Oh, and be sur...
My wife and I are constantly on the look out for great Indian food! Having tried 5 or 6 places in San Jose and wider Bay Area with little satisfaction, we finally came across New Delhi! What a great meal! The restaurant is definitely more modern and upbeat. The decor is contemporary. The food was ab...
Very authentic Indian food that tastes great without being too expensive. The wait service was very accommodating; two of us showed up at 6:15pm, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our third guests. The restaurant had no issue with sitting us while we wait for the late party on a Thursday ni...
We went to dinner here on the recommendation of the concierge at the Four Seasons. We told her that we wanted some good food, but not something we could find in our hometown. She suggested New Delhi and definitely hit the mark. The menu was wonderful and I wish we could have tried everything on it.
"What a stellar dining experience! Our waiter was spot on in his recommendations, the chili cheese pakoras were divine and so addictive with just the right accompaniments. They have special house cocktails which we would highly recommend the mango martini, as well as the Nimbu Pani. The Indian food ...
A local favorite of mine, always very professional service and GREAT food. I like to take guests here for dinner - good variety and excellent quality. Atmosphere is casual but service is always very elegant. Decor is comfortable, clean, and attractive. Lunch tends to rather quiet, so if you want to ...
I was here for a work event and was very impressed by the whole operation. The staff was smooth and efficient and the food was excellent. They managed to move 100 people through the buffet line quickly and everyone was happy. The restaurant has wifi, which worked out well for us. They also do in-off...
Good Food and Good Service We went at a time when there were not many people around and the food and service were great. I totally recommend Tandoori Platter for starters and the garlic nan. I haven't had such a juicy and luscious tandoori dish in my life. Just Yummy!! Wide Variety of Nans to try fr...
I order from Sultan Indian Cuisine frequently and I always enjoy it. The food is delicious and high quality. My two favorite dishes are the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Daal dish with the mix of 5 types of lentils. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I love the decor. It is simple...

This is the most AMAZING restaurant. I went there and the mood was so romantic my boyfriend told me he loved me for the first time there. This was 4 years ago and I still can't forget the ambiance. Truly special.

Fantastic authentic indian food. The best indian food I've had so far in the USA (I'm british). The place has beautiful, stylish decor so it's a treat to be here. Prices are a little on the high side - none of the main dishes comes with anything, so once you've added rice or bread it adds up. Not a ...
This place USED to have it. They lost it several years ago when they forced Indian food onto the menu. Dudes: read my lips: FOCUS. Pizza... Indian cuisine... I don't get it. They were way better before they took out the bar and gentrified the place. Sunset dwellers don't want such niceties in ...
This place lives on a rep it established 20 years ago, when there were hardly any Indian restaurants around. Things have changed though, fortunately, and the result is that I no longer have to suffer through mediocre food, high prices (for the quality), and subpar service. I can now get this level o...
The food was very bad and it was very expensive, i do not recommend anyone dining at this restaurant EVER.

I had the misfortune to eat (not dine) at the Maharani last night. My friends had booked the "Fantasy Room" for 7:00 PM on a Saturday. On arrival at 6:55 PM, we were shown to what only could be called a penalty box (waiting alcove), which immediately filled with about four of the about 20 Indian fam...
