First off, this is a space for customers to give their interpretation of the restaurant, not a forum for the owners to grip about how unfair they feel a negative review was. We as paying guest of restaurants expect and deserve to be treated like we are welcome whether or not it works for the owners...
The Harvest Moon has very tastey food and we had a large group and had it not been for the uppity, rude waiter, we would have had a great experience. The waiter was totally rude and made a comment, "OOOOH, I would have cheated you out of $.49 cents. Totally inappropriate, it should have been, I'm ...
I have lived in the Modesto area for many years and have returned time and again for the Neil's Crab Toss Salad. (So good!!) The (serving) staff has always been kind and as attentive as possible, but be warned that this is not a good place to visit during the lunch rush if you only have an hour. The...
My husband and I are frequent visitors to Harvest Moon Restaurant. The food is excellent. Chef Shannon Gonzales has helped develop some great recipes and we've tried many of them. He makes some really great Garlic Fries if you like garlic. The restaurant is always busy during the day and later i...
They have really good food. I have eaten there on several occasions. The service is fast and friendly. I love their corn chowder soup it is the best I have ever eaten.
I went there during Jury duty. most people are not in good moods when they are in jury duty either. they lifted my spirits. the fodd is excellent, and the people were friendly! i wish there was one more close to town.
Excellent atmosphere. Great for dates, family and friends to eat. Neal's toss is flawless, as is the corn chowder and garlic fries.Great bar area with excellent drink selection. Friendly and fast.
My husband and I eat there often and especially like the crab toss and etoufee. We also came in for lunch with our daughter who was two years old at the time and they not only had a children's menu, but she enjoyed looking at the lights on the ceiling and the overall decor. We've always been more ...
Hi,
I would like to address the previous reviewers personal attack on Harvest Moon and its employees which feels as perhaps someone with a personal issue rather than a true review. I am Charlyne, the owners wife, or I believe since this is 2006 and America I would be the owner also. I have work...
My husband and I have dined at Harvest Moon a number of times over the past 5 years we have lived in Modesto. In fact, it is my favorite place in Modesto! The food is excellent (the Neil's Toss is my fav!), the staff is friendly and quirky (which I like), and the atmosphere is fun. We have even b...
I am a former resident of Modesto, CA Yes, I admit, it's my hometown, are you happy now? My wife and I experience withdrawls for the Harvest Moon. Sure, we live in Hawaii now but there is nothing like H M here in Kona. We were hooked on the restaurant since it's inception and when Mike and Char took...
I just went to the Harvest Moon for the first time ever. What a great place. The location is alright and parking is kinda tough but who cares, the food is amazing. I had the 1lb burger and it was great. I normally eat burgers at In-N-Out just like many Californians but this burger was way better. Th...
Harvest Moon is one of my favorite restaurants for
lunch and breakfast, as it is many of my friends.
I'm pretty surprised at some of the reviews, so I think we need an update! There food is great! I
love the crab sandwich myself. Blue Cheese burger
is to die for. Breakfast - mmmm- the french...
this restaurant claims elegant dining the only thing elegant in this restaurant is the name, there are far better places in modesto,do not waste your money on a so so restaurant
the food was only fair for the price, the bread was no better than getting a loaf from a supermarket.the noise level was high, and noisy,
the portions were large but not exceptional in taste.....don`t waste your money here
not an elegant experience, although the food came in large portions it was not any better than a meal at the Cracker Barrel, and the ambience is about the same...only advantage is you can get an alcoholic beverage at Hazel
food in large portion but not elegant or exceptionlly tasty, ambience is about like that of Olive Garden but Olive Garden is cheaper.
noise level is high
We had a great meal, but I must admit we were disapointed to find that our meal was a mere 4 course meal verses a severn course meal. We have not been to Hazels for some time it seems to have lost some of it's unique appeal. I feel like I could have recevied the same meal at any other nice restara...
Very nice decor and pleasant, efficient staff. Very good service and food. Generous portions. A great place for a business lunch or special dinner.
Great Experience
The only thing missing was presentation.
