This place was packed at midnight and was recommended to us by the hotel concierge. We decided to try this place and was a good experience. It probably would have been better if we had come with someone that knew the ropes. The service was quite lacking but not in rude way. It seem as if they just ...
This was one of the best dim sum I've had in a long long time. Ocean Seafood had a lobster dumpling that was excellent. If you are like me and order your desserts along with your savory items then you will truly enjoy the baked custard buns! They were amazing! Not only were they huge but very tas...
e3rd is a great place to eat when you are downtown. It's in the middle of the Arts District and has plenty of parking and space but close to everything, including freeways. The food is totally unique, practically priced and addictive California-Korean cuisine that made Zip Fusion next door so popul...
As the only Indian restaurant within walking distance of the major hotels in central downtown Los Angeles, and situated inside one of the best value hotels in downtown, The Stillwell, Gills Cuisine of India is one of the top choices for local denizens and tired office workers for its very reasonably...
This place is open 24/7, and has NEVER been without at least one diner in the 50 years that they have been in business. Get there early for all meals as the line stretches around the block. Weather it's breakfast at 3AM:,or dinner at 4 PM:, the food and service is the best. With fresh sourdough brea...

OMG what a great and fun experience. Hope was so nice and custom made everything to perfection. We needed an emergency Birthday party platter and in 3 hours she had it to us. The cupcakes and truffles were out of this world.

My favorite local. I can walk there and often do!
A local place with great south Californian Mexican food.
This is the place to go for Green Chile & Cheese burritos!
I was staying about a block away in a Los Angeles Hotel and ran into this little great spot. It's a must eat!!!
Great food. Very clean. I took the Gold Line from South Pasadena. 22 minutes, then a ten minute walk. Well worth it. Special Burrito a must! Great Tacos too! Kevin B.

The food was amazing, it just got better, we were there about a month ago for the band but we really didn't love the food. We just went back a couple days ago and did not plan on eating, but hunger got the best of us and we had the most wonderful fish in this coconut sauce and it was like heaven! Th...
There's no sushi here (although they do offer a very limited selection of sashimi) - this place offers noodle dishes that are fantastic! The menu structure allows diners to choose the style of noodles and toppings, and the prices are very reasonable. The lunch specials are yummy - the garlic...

I was surprised when I saw the menu, which has both standards and stuff you wouldn't expect to find at a diner. There's a great vegetarian selection, and also stuff for meat-eaters. Try the challah french toast!
I have been going to Chang's for the last 8 years and I have always enjoyed it but today (May 18, 2007) I tried to place an order over the phone and the guy who answered the phone was so rude and hardly spoke any English- I could not even place the order. too bad!! FOOD IS EXCELLENT
