Food is fair. Try the soup and salad special for lunch. The pasta faziole is good as are the bread sticks. They don't take reservations, and sometimes it can be a long wait to get in.
Montis has been in Tempe since it's inception. Unfortunately they have been catering to the football crowd and neglecting the regular customers. If you go during non football times the service and food will be better. They have a new restaurant call Montis at the Ranch on Dobson Road. Similar menu, ...
Minderbinder has been around more than 30 years! It mostly caters to the college crowd and has volleyball courts out back. Most of the food is average, but he hotwings are dynamite. Give them a try. They also have carry out service. We order 50 at a time to take home.

One of the only places in Tempe where you can eat at 3:00 A.M. Not great, but not bad. A typical diner.

If you like bulgogi and other Korean dishes this is the place for you. Excellent food and nice service.

I felt the food was not worth the price charged. They try to give the appearance of an upscale restaurant, but in reality the food was just average and served tepid instead of hot. I won't be returning.
Ichi Ban has a great sushi bar. The chef is most accomodating. Try the unagi - it's to die for. The regular sit down dining is also good. This place is not cheap, but good, fresh food never is. Two of us spent $60 at the sushi bar and felt it was worth every dime.

C Fu does excellent Chinese food. The fish is fresh and the food is well prepared and at a fair price. The Ambiance is a bit lacking as is the cleanliness of the restrooms.
Filibertos is part of a chain. It is the best value in the valley for Mexican food. A typical burrito will cost 3 to 4 dollars, and weigh more than a pound! Lots of food with good taste for little money. A winner.
Good tasting food. Buffet. Menu almost never changes. Could be cleaner.
One of the oldest Thai restaurants in the valley. Try the duck curry. The pineapple stuffed with rice, chicken and cashews is great. Watch the temperature you ask for in the food. If you ask for hot and spicy, you will get what you asked for! Sooth your mouth with the thai tea.
Fair food at a fair price. Good value in the prime rib. Nice shrimp cocktail. Would be nice if they had balsamic vinegar for the salads.
