Oh MY gosh!! This sushi was soooo good. I got take out on a Saturday night. It took about 45 minutes and was fantastic: fresh, flavorful and beautiful. Will definitely go again.
this place is highly underrated.... sushi is excellent with the best wasabi and the sushi chefs are highly skilled and proficient. try the house saki.....
best sushi in the valley...... not trendy but they get the job done.....very traditional presentation with excellent service. sushi chefs are very accommodating and anxious to please. been eating here regularly for over a year and cannot find comparable sushi anywhere else in valley..........
There IS NO BETTER sushi in the valley. I've tried everywhere and I always complain when i'm somewhere else saying "how spoiled I am from going to Kampai all the time" The sushi is succulent and fresh... and the sashimi salmon melts in your mouth like butter. I will go no where else for...
This is the Best of the Best. You can't get any better sushi in Arizona. I love Kampai. It's worth every penny. And if you have to wait it's also worth the time.
I have been eating sushi here since 1997. I lived in Yokohama Japan for 4 years and Kampai Sushi is the best Japanese in all of Arizona! I would recommend this place as a first choice!
We love Kampai! and have been going there for at least 2 years. I almost hate to spread the word because I want them to myself, but Kampai is the best we've had in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area (and I used to live in Manhattan where there is great sushi everywhere). The ambiance is easy yet still ha...
No matter how many times I asked I couldn't get a drink refill. The waitress was either dingy or just straight rude.
Klein Pickles are the best in the west! They are made in Phoenix Arizona. They also make peppercinis relish jalapenos and the best kosher pickles in the world. Always ask for Mrs. Kleins Pickles at your grocery store and when you eat out! Their refrigerated slabs are the bomb!
The best Thai food Phoenix has. The guy who serves you speaks limited english and it is a small place tucked into a small strip mall. The food is really the star here...it is fresh and spicy...it is the real deal. Good food and very fair prices.
I love this place! With only 6 tables, it feels like you are sitting in the living room of a Thai family and they are graciously serving you. The food is always good, but watch the spice levels - their "medium" is sometimes hot, so ask for "mild" if you don't like it hot. This place is a great va...

What's special about La Parilla is the grilled meats, Mexico City style. Steaks or chicken breasts are chopped and grilled with bacon and green pepper to stuff the tacos. Try the chicken melt (white cheese, flour tortilla, chicken, bacon, avocado and tomato) or the chorizo con queso (very unusual)...

Mexican cuisine is actually far more varied than most Anglo Americans realize. This is one variety of Mexican food that will appeal to anyone who has not yet mastered the pleasures of hot chiles. The tastes are simple and straightforward. Chile is not used on everything. However, you can always ...

We have been customers since this location open and have been extremely happy with business both food and service. However during recent visits the restaurant temperature has been warm and unconstable. The AC should be repair or replace.
People, if you want real authentic Mexican food -specially from the DF Mexico, PLEEASE DO NOT MISS this restaurant which now is also called TORTAS EL REY -same location. Their speciallities are 'antojitos' and they prapared them with TLC: well seazoned and the portions are superb. Make sure to try ...
As a 100% Mexican a proudly recommend Tortas El Rey and La Presa. You won't be sorry to try this authentic Mexican Eatery of 'Antojitos Mexicanos': -Well seasoned, well prepared, good presentation, great portions and prices. -Prompt, polite and atentive service -great cooks! The place is cleaned...
Very good food at a great price. Authentic, clean and great service. And as a bonus honest workers, I left my cell phone there and didn't realize it until the next day. They saved it for me!
I attended the comedy show at the Mad Chef and saw Pete Christensen. He was clean, and hilarious. The food was affordable and deliscious. They also gave a good potyion. My family and I enjoyed ourselves!!
My girlfriend and I went here for the first time last night, and had by far the worst dining experience of our lives. We have been to a variety of high end restaurants in the area, and have never experienced service as poor as this. Through the meal we were visited perhaps 3-4 times by our server...

The quiche Lorraine was to die for and the potatoes tasted like what I make at home. The fruit was gorgous and flavorful. Overall I would rate this restaurant a '10!'
