For a small town, this is a great restaurant. I enjoyed it as it seems to be able to compete with the big time restaurants in the large city's.

Just in case you found the rest of the reviews in here funny as all hell, because they look like they are all written by someone from that restaurant...
Here's my take on the it. Yokohama has an authentic feel to it, there's one area where the floor is raised, and the tables seem to be at floor level, like in a japanese home. The trick is, the floor underneath is open, so you sit normally (american style ;) but you seem to be sitting japanese style... The atmosphere is dim, and in my opinion, under decorated... I was hoping for more japanese art and things. It is also a quiet place, not so great for kids if they are squirmy and loud, also not a party kind of place.
It is a great place to experience good japanese food, in a seemingly japanese atmosphere. I had sushi and some teriakki steak, it was all great. (notice I can spell "great" whereas at least two other reviewers spelled it wrong, among other spelling/grammar errors, it cracks me up)
Fort Wayne has only 3 japanese restaurants, I've been to two of them so far. this one is second on my list. It wouldn't be so right of me to say which one is first in a review though.
So, it's a place to experience a peice of Japan, but be prepared to pay $30 or more per person for a good diner, and leave the loud/squirmy kids with the babysitter :)

In the YOKOHAMA Japanese Restaurant, there are very sweet, kind and friendly personal services for your enjoyable evening with your friends and family. We went for birthday party for one of our nice friend Joyce. That was pleasant for our friends and her family. It was my first time for Japanese restaurant in Fort Wayne, IN. At that moment, food was fresh, nature fish color with extremely tasty. For my entire live, I never had that kind of pleasurable personality and services and very delicious Japanese food. When we left from the YOKOHAMA Japanese Restaurant with satisfying and lovely saying good nice from all waitress. Last things we agree and decide for future return and forever be good customer for the restaurant. All my reader or who looking for the best restaurant in Fort Wayne is the one YOKOHAMA.

Yours truly,
