I moved to Moscow from michigan and I miss DeLucas pizza, I want to move back.

I come to DeLucas every year when I come up from Florida and it hasn't changed. It's the most delicious food I have ever eaten. The prices and service are great and I`m not treated like a nobody.

Deluca's has gone downhill, I moved here to Lansing 10 years ago and have routinely ordered from them, always the same thing house special, toppings were always evenly distributed until recently, the last 3 times, i get toppings on the 4 inside pieces, talked to the owner/manager each time, and he in not so many words called me a liar and treated me as if I were not important.
So I told him this last time, that would our last time going to his restaurant and didn't seem concerned at all.... sorry i only want what i pay for and to be treated with dignity.
so if you want to be treated as a nobody go ahead and spend your hard earned money there if not there are plenty of other places that serve pizza that is JUST as good as theirs!!!

I grew up in Lansing back in the 60's and whenever I stayed at my older sisters' for the weekend, we had pizza from "Willow Bar". I left in the early 70's and whenever I've returned I've shared at least one pizza from "Willow Bar - Deluca's". I remarried in 2000 and whenever my husband & I return to Lansing he has to have a Deluca's pizza while there. He has searched far & wide for a similar pizza in the Dallas, TX area and so far, no such luck. I can't rate the inside cleanliness or service because for the last 20 years we've always had take-out to enjoy at home with family or friends we're visiting. The pizza is outstanding and very resonably priced. Sure wish there were coupons though because I always love a bargain.

We had heard great things about De Luca's. People kept telling us the food was amazing and that it was the best Italian restaurant in Lansing. While the atmosphere was nice and the prices were good, we were quite disappointed with the food. The salad that came with my meal was like any chain restaurant salad--your regular iceberg lettuce, carrot shavings, etc--nothing seemed super fresh or unique. My husband ordered a thin crust pizza and it was doughy and really bland and tasteless! I ordered the Manicotti and again, it was nothing special--nothing I couldn't get at a chain restaurant. Sorry for the bad review, but we were not impressed!!

This is one of Lansing's best pizza/Italian restaurants. The food is fresh and made with quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and, especially Friday & Saturday nights the place is packed. It's a family owned & operated restaurant. Great place for family & friends to get together.

The food is out of this world and the best value around. The server was friendly and accommodating. The owners are always there making sure everything is right on track. I rarely eat at any other restaurant when in Lansing.

Great food ..especially pizza

Some of the absolute best vegetarian pizza I've ever had! Deluca's lives up to their excellent reputation--I've heard about them for years, finally tasted their veggie pizza and now am convinced I must eat it forever. :-) It is really, really, really, really, really, really good stuff!

Deluca's has great pizza! Those nimrods bitchin about the staff are idiots! So what if the staff is rude and inept? What do they expect from service personal? Especially the dumbass who won't be going back because the bartender called her on her idiotic beer selection. Go there for the great pizza and reasonable price!

The servers at Deluca's have very LARGE sections. On many occasions the person seating the customer is not following any kind of rotation, therefore the servers are "slammed", and doing the best they can. The food is VERY resonably priced and the portions are HUGE.

Pizza is overated. It's all about the bulk---the pizza is heavy and will fill you up. dumbed down for the Lansing area. Listen to the Chicago people!

the prices are through the roof at delucas, i has 5 breadsticks and they charged me $5.59 for them!!! they were good though

Deluca's has been the very best pizza place in the world since I first had it over 20 years ago as a kid. Anyone who would have a bad thing to say about Deluca's expects way too much. The staff/ownership is very friendly and always professional. Best pizza ever.

My parents used to take us kids to Delucas back in the late 70s when it was called the Willow and it has been part of my life ever since. I always love the pizza, and one person said their pizza had not enough cheese....my God how much cheese do you want? Delucas mounds on the cheese! I have not had problems with the service either. It is not outstanding, but it is usually good. This is the best pizza on Earth! We drive 30 minutes to get it!

My wife and I took my mom to Delucas for pizza and garlic bread sticks with cheese. Absolutely, the best in town. Wait staff was very good and efficient. We will definately go back.

My family has been dining at DeLuca's restaurant for many years. The food is supurb, especially the pizza and we have never had a bad waiter or waitress. The prices are reasonable and a good value for the food.

Having been put of the state for sometime my husband and I looked forward to returning for some good home-town pizza. As usual the pizza was amazing and the food great. However, we accedently odered the wrong size picture of beer (our eyes bigger than our stomachs as usual) and sent it back asking for the smaller size. The waiter was very polite about it but we overheard the bartender call us idiots and complain the rest of the time there that common sense should be used. I have never had such service. Not only did we complain to the owner but nothing was said or done about it. I will never be going back there. Too Bad too. the food is great. parts of the staff and owner are rude rude rude!!

I have read some of the previous comments left by customers. In defence for the resturant and all restuarants for that matter, If you go on a weekend expect to wait for your food and for a table. Think about it if you waited in the lobby then you'll probably have a wait in the restuarant as well. Also I'm willing to bet that those who commented have never waited tables before, try dealing with people on a day to day basis like that. Also I noticed on our visit that sometimes the poor waiter/waitress would be sat several different tables at once. Bad planning by the host yes but give people a break. Waitressing is hard you have several tables at once to help and people are very needy. Next time people go out to eat remember that YOU are not the only people your server is waiting on, be patient and understanding!

My husband and I went to eat at Delucas this weekend and found as usual a wait. Not a problem though the food is excellent however while waiting we sat at the bar and have never had a ruder bartender. She had an attitude and was not very friendly. Word to the wise don't sit at the bar!!!

The service at Delucas was great, I don't know what the rest of these reviews are talking about. The food is filling and wonderful. I recomend the Lasagna. Yum!!!

If you are coming here for the service this is not the place to go. If you are coming here for the pizza this is the only place to go in Lansing. It is second to none.

The service is always terrible and slow, and usually rude, but since I can call ahead I have started going back because they truly have the best food in Lansing, without a doubt. Their House Special pizza and subs are to die for!!! Unfortunalty, if I wanted to be waited on, this is NOT the place to go. Someone needs to train the staff on customer service and lunch time- frames.

I am from Lansing and have known the owners since it was called "Willow Bar." I have not lived in Michigan in a long time but every time I come home, I ask for DeLuca's pizza. (I will be doing this in a few weeks when I am home for the holidays!)

Our waitress was a little forgetful when it came down to sauces and beverage refills, but other than that the service was fine. The food was extremely filling (i recommend the garlic bread loaf) and the prices are right for those on a budget who can't afford to spend $50 on dinner for two. 8.00 a plate and it includes salad and bread and more food than an average sized person can handle.

The waitstaff person was very bad. She brought our fried zuchini without any sauce. When we questioned her about this, she said we couldn't get marinara sauce but we could have ranch dressing or ketchup. The owner came by and we asked her. She said we could have marinara sauce or ranch dressing. Anything we wanted with the appetizer.

Our waitstaff person also didn't know the price of the different beers offered. She took five minutes to check on the prices.

Our pizza was terrible. It was on of the worst pizzas we have ever had. We left over half of the pizza. There wasn't enough cheese. The chicken on the pizza was processed and tasteless.
