Ragazzi had been one of our favorite restaurants in Green Valley over the years. Last night it was a disgusting experience.

Took three minutes to get seated even though the place was not busy. Short handed wait staff took forever to get menus, wine list, bread course, etc.

And of course the nearly inedible dinner took similarly long. Wine is all overpriced. Waiter didn't even know the maker of the house wine.

Chicken Marsala and Piccata dishes were overcooked, swimming in melted butter, and had no apparent flavor difference between them The past was underdone and gummy. Apparently it was reheated in a microwave before serving.

Bill took forever to get and we had to go to the bar to pester someone to let us pay it.

This place has slid to the bottom of the pile in Green Valley. We'd never return here, and wonder why anyone else would either.

We had reservations for six. We arrived on time, but nothing else did. We finally got up and left after nearly 1 1/2 of waiting for our dinner. They were badly understaffed. It was a pretty full house, and we weren't the only table complaining. We saw food sitting on their serving counter for ten minutes or more waiting to be delivered - probably cold. This is supposed to be one of Green Valley's premier dining places, but we won't be back.
