Diner reviews of Puerto Vallarta
A diner from Sellersburg, IN
Sep 28, 2011
The only thing that sets a mexican restaurant apart from any other mexican restaurant is customer service and this one is the worst! I had to go order where I ordered a child's entree, a large cheese dip, and a sopapilla (sp). When I arrived home I pulled everything out. my Sop was missing. I called to inquire about possibly getting it replaced. The employee said I didn't order one. I argued that I did and he said if I can make it back before they close I can order one but I would have to pay for it. I explained that I already paid for it and he said proceeded to argue. I let him go and thought maybe he was right. So, I did the math. Without the Sop I should have been charged a little over 10.00 and with the sop it would have been 13.47 which was EXACTLY what I was charged. So I called back and he asked him nicely to explain my charges. He then added random charges on like because I was an adult I was charged another dollar (I can understand this while eating in but a To Go? The meal could have been for my kid) Then he charged me for cheese on my meal. Some how all of my extra charges cost the EXACT price of a sop. He was rude, the guy I ordered from was rude. The only person that was nice was the guy that handed me my bag of food... All I need to say is El Nopal is closer and they will get all my business from now on. The food is the same, the atmosphere isn't as colorful but at least they are nice! Or go to Rubens!!! They are really AWESOME!

The salsa should be sold commercially. It is a fine chopped blend of tomato, onion, peppers, and unique ingredients I wish I could pay for the secrets.

I was a big fan of Studio's and had not been to the bar since the Irish Exit took it's place. I was talked into going on St. Patrick's day and wanted to give it a shot. My friends had been there a few times and said th

this used to be a favorite college hang out for me and just went back after about 15 or 20 years. They have of course renovated quite a bit and changed the menu some, but the food is still great and so is the service.

I loved the food at Wings to Go but the kids working there were horrible. It wasn't clean or dirty, just small and cramped. The food was the shining moment; the best wings in the Louisville metro area. They just need a b
