The owner personally seated us after seeing us standing in the entry. The elk I had was even better than that in Jackson Hole. It was served in medallions with a berry sauce. The waiter was perfect. The decor was authentic West, not some wannabe city stuff. We are staying in Ouray this fall just so we can eat there again.
